Hey!
I'm Steve, usually the person grinning or more likely tearing up behind the camera. I'm a naturally excitable person and I try to carry that energy into everything I do, especially weddings.
As you've probably seen already, I'm not the stereotypical photographer who goes lording about the place making bad jokes and bossing your guests around... honestly can't stand that. The only time I use my "not-Steve voice" (as Katie calls it) is for big group photos, when you need to organise 100+ people at once, and trust me it's easier to herd geese...
On your wedding day, I'm very much a background figure, I prefer chatting and making everyone comfortable, because when you're relaxed, you forget there's a camera there.
Making weddings feel easy
I captured my first wedding in August 2015, and after 10 years and countless weddings, I absolutely love that this is my job!
I believe that your wedding day should feel like your day. It should be whatever you want it to be, no exceptions, no pressure, just you two celebrating your love in the way that suits you best.
My role in all of that is to capture you experiencing everything you have planned (as well as what you haven't planned) in a natural, relaxed way. I'm not the main character in your wedding day, I'll give space for quiet moments, never interrupt the memories, and above all, let you be yourself.
I create something that feels true to you, not just beautiful on the surface. Something you can look back on and say, “Yes, that’s exactly how it felt.”
On the day Steve fit in so well! Most of the time no one even noticed we were having the wedding filmed, and me and my bridesmaids felt completely comfortable having him there when getting ready, he even helped out with our pageboy.
We LOVE the films themselves, they’ve had us crying and laughing and are the perfect memory of our day and so many special moments.
Steve went above and beyond to get good footage and to make sure he was there to capture everything, and share with us important moments. Such great attention to detail in the edit as well.
Steve was friendly, funny, professional and produced amazing wedding videos promptly and packaged in such a thoughtful way.

Steve & Katie
On wedding days, you’ll often see me joined by Katie, my fiancée and second shooter (yep we're also planning our own wedding!).
We live in the countryside town of Cowbridge in South Wales with our two adorable cats, Calliope & Midnight. Outside of weddings, we love slow mornings, spontaneous adventures, and a great beach sunset.
We're getting married in 2026, and have already gone through a year and a half of wedding planning, and it's given us a huge insight into what we look for in a photographer/videographer and how we can use that in our own approach as well.
So if you're just starting your planning, or in the midst of the planning chaos, we're always happy to help with questions, tips, and/or advice.
Introducing the two fluffiest members of our family, Callie & Midi. Currently going through their terrible twos, these two are professions at gaining your affection whilst simultaneously causing the most amount of chaos.
The Cats
They’re both seasoned editing assistants, and by that I mean they sit on my keyboard, put their paws in my drinks, and occasionally contribute to a video call (so if you meet them, consider yourself officially welcomed!).
Calliope
Callie is the princess, she has me wrapped around her little paw. She loves to watch and observe the world, until she decides it’s time for attention, and when that happens there is no escaping her affection. She will head nudge, get in your face, and often lick you until you give her all of the love and attention she requires (even if it’s 2am in the morning).
Midnight
Midi is our little Toothless, a cautious adventurer who darts around our house like she’s running from the law. Everyday is a new adventure for her, climbing new furniture, performing new jumps she’s never tried, and scavenging sticks for us (so many sticks...). She loves cuddling, sitting on my shoulder, and her chewed down bell toys.
